you sounded the warning when bad weather was headed our way...

you watched over us all...

you kept Bliss groomed and manicured...

you set on her when she was cold...

you taught Rooster the rules of the yard...

you loved to hold hands...

you were the sweetest dog ever...

you will be missed by all...

Hey I'm back....

Hey everyone...I'm back....

Mom's been pretty busy with Nolan and JD....

JD isn't doing good....his heart is getting worse...

so I'm not playing as hard with him anymore...

but you know me...

I find plenty to keep me busy...

hmmmm what can I get into now???

I think I will take a swim....

Nolan...

On friday we found out Nolan was diabetic...

he was started on insulin...he did good on Friday...

and on Saturday he was starting to be more like himself...

Saturday night I left for an hour...came back...

and he was not doing good...he wouldn't eat..

he just wanted to lay around...he spent all day Sunday

sitting in my lap...or sleeping...would not eat...

had to spoon water and broth in him..

we took him back to the Vet monday morning...

we saw a different Vet...and found out he was being

given more than twice the amount of insulin that he should have...

and put on the wrong food...

she changed his insulin...changed his food... 

we pureed the food to get him to eat it...

and yesterday afternoon....he tried to get in the trash...

we knew he was hungry...we were so excited...

he ate his food at dinner without it being pureed...

he still has a ways to go to get back to being Nolan...

but hopefully he is on his way to being better...

he even picked up his ball lastnight...

didn't want to play....but he picked it up...

Nolan

Nolan hasn't been feeling good for a few weeks...

1st his anal glad was stopped up...

then we took him back to the vet and he had a loose tooth..

they pulled the tooth...he still wasn't up to par...

he was drinking a lot of water...

we thought maybe his mouth was still sore...

he lost a couple of pounds...

he was pottying alot...

well...he was drinking so much water...

then he had a accident in the house...

we knew something was up...

maybe a urinary tract infection...

we went back to the vet...

we found out Nolan is diabetic...

he has to have insulin shots twice a day...

the vet said schnauzers are prone to diabitis...

hopefully we will be able to get his insulin regulated soon...

we're hoping we got it early...

and he will have lots of good years left...
