now that the weather is cooler...

I get to play ball more often...

 Sunday we went to the park...

Pawpaw bought me new tennis balls...

 these balls really bounce...

(for now)

 I like playing ball at home...

but something about going to the park...

makes it even better...

and of course I have Oma there...

taking photos of my every move...

 it makes me work even harder...

I like having my photo taking...

some say I'm a bit of a Ham...

well...maybe...

 I couldn't believe what I was hearing...

Pawpaw said...let's go to the lake...

on a MONDAY...

 well...I grabbed up my new tennis ball...

and waited...while they gathered everything up...

I was the first one loaded up...

the first one out the door...

 it started out raining today...

then the sun came out...

boy...I'm one lucky dog...

 Oma threw the ball for me...

over and over...and over...

then Pawpaw had his turn...

 I swam...and chased the ball for nearly 2 hours....

 I kept my eyes on Pawpaw and Stringbean...

to make sure everyone stayed safe...

 this water is much better than the pond water I

swam in yesterday...it was muddy...

didn't taste too good either...

I got a good work out...

a little nap in the vehicle...

and I will be good to go again...

yep this was my LUCKY DAY...

 Athena is on the move....

her nose to the ground...

her tail in the air....

 there are so many smells....

 so many sounds....

 hey what was that????

maybe a grasshopper...

 where did that squirrel go???

 hey...I know that smell....

 yep...that is Ginger...

fresh out of the mud...

the puppy charmer is calling...

guess who couldn't resist...

a tired girl....

can find a place to sleep any where...

If you want to run with the big dogs...

you gotta learn a few rules....

 Ginger is coming around to Athena...

at first she didn't want her any where close to her..

Now she interacts with her more...

Athena is as happy as can be...

I think they will be good friends...

once the puppy bitey's go away...

Rooster loves Athena...

he corrects her if she starts getting to rough...

especially with Stringbean...

Rooster is our dog...

Ginger and Athena belong to our Son, DIL and Stringbean...

Hatari and Bo belong to our daughter and her fellow...

(they also have 3 cats at home...the cats don't come)

The Bunnies...Buster and Duke...

(we had a bunny Busy...

but she went to Bunny Heaven...

that is when Duke come to live with us...)

live at our house...

but they are Stringbean's bunnies...

(well...really mine...but Oma's share)

he helps fee and take care of them

All the dogs come to work everyday...

except Bo...he comes once or twice a week...

he get's to go to work with his Dad sometimes...

It is wild and crazy around here most days...
