The dog days of summer continue....

Nolan was under the weather this week...

he had a little tummy virus....

but is back to normal now....

 

she still smells like a skunk when she gets wet....

I guess it doesn't bother the squirrels...

she has been catching more ....

shhhhh Oma....I have my eye on one now...

a little drink....

then back on the trail....

some new varmits have moved in......

they won't last long......

playing a little ball in the water....

best way to play ball right now....

in the dark...and in the water..

another one bites the dust.......

guard duty doesn't stop.....

even in the heat...

when I opened the door she howled...

jumped in the front seat...

she got her run...

she got her ride...

hopefully she's too tired to cause any more trouble...

Tuesday night Bliss jumped the fence...

took off on a night long adventure...

that lasted all night and into the next morning...

let me tell you when that girl goes...

she can run for ever...and she is old...

finally she wore down...and loaded up in the truck...

got her little ride around the block...

back on the right side of the fence....

Wednesday afternoon...Miss Ginger...

decided to dart out of the gate...

she decided she needed a little run....

my son was very patient with her...

no chasing...just letting her know it's time to stop...

finally....she ran on the front porch...

just as I opened the front door...

she darted in...must have wanted some cool air..

finally back on the right side of the fence...

All 3 boys thought they had lost their minds...

I think so also...

it must be the heat making them nuts....

oh Mom...

no more photos...

a little bitey face....

checking to make sure all is clear..

then a little nap....

This heat makes me sleepy....

I'm headed inside...

to Mom's my nice comfy bed..

and it was here not long ago...

if you can't go to the beach...

Bliss gets nervous...
