there is a stranger in town....
Meet Zane...
or as Hotrod calls him...
Zaney Waney....
Zane was my DIL's Mom's dog...
they took him in after she passed away....
this was his first visit to our house...
he spent the weekend...

He is an older dog...
made himself right at home...
Rooster was not too thrilled about him...
he didn't really care what Rooster thought...

You want to play ball Ginger????

Sure Oma...I want to play ball...

Ginger you jumped so fast...I missed it with my camera...
(she leaped into the air...caught it and layed back down)

Ginger you are too fast for me....
I can't throw the ball and get your photo all at the same time...
hmmmm...who can we get to throw it so I can get a photo???
Hey...where are you two going with the ball???
Omas trying to do a photo shoot here...
you know for my blog....
Kids...and dogs....
not always cooperative...

Nolan could be considered legally blind...
but it doesn't slow him down too much....

he is always ready for a game of ball...
I am surprised how well he does...
if the lighting is just right he does great...
it can't be too bright...or too dark..
around dusk is really good for him...

sometimes it takes him a while to find it...
but most of the time he heads right to it...
even catches a few of them in the air...

he lets Rooster know real quick...
that he is still the 1st ball dog in these parts...
