Random 5 Friday

 today we are joining A Rural Journal with Nancy

for Random 5 Friday....
 

1.  Granddogs...like Grandkids are awesome....

you get to have fun with them...spoil them...

send them home....Hatari is a sweetheart....
but she can be an escape artist..if you are in
the front yard with out her...she tries to find a way...
to squeeze through the gate to come see you...

 

 2. Ginger is the sweetest girl....but she likes to dig...

and let me tell you this girl can have a tunnel in nothing flat...

 

3.  Hotrod gets the joy of not only having his own dog with

him every day (Ginger) but he gets Rooster, Hatari...

and even cranky old Nolan...

 

4.  Rooster loves the water....Ginger loves the water...

Hotrod loves the water...

but there is another thing they all have in common...

none of them like to take bathes...

go figure...

 

5.  This is Nolan when he was a puppy...

oh he was such a sweetie pie....WRONG...

he was a mess...always up to something...

barking (more like screaming)...grabbing things from you...

he would not leave you alone until you did what he wanted...

oh he would cuddle every now and then...

but he has always liked to rough house...

he still thinks he is that tough...

Hatari and Hotrod have become great pals...



 sometimes a girl just needs to cool down....

Nolan is doing pretty good...

we changed his dog food...

we found out the special diabetic dog food...

the main protein in it was peanut shells...

was causing him more problems...

it was also very expensive...

he has even put on a little weight on his new dog food...

he spends more time outside now...

I think he has better energy...

he is not having to have as much insulin...

he is having a bout with his pancreas today...

so we have to take him off food for at least 24 hours...

to let his pancreas settle down a bit...

hopefully he will be better soon...
