Bliss has always been an adventurous girl...
she has always had a taste for chicken....
one day we heard a lot of commotion going on the the back...
JD our blue heeler was barking like crazy....
we go outside to see Bliss at the water bowl...
she is pushing something under the water....
can you guess what it was???
it was a chicken...
she had brought a chicken home...
was drinking water....
pushing a chicken under the water...
it was popping up...clucking like crazy...
JD our blueheeler was running around the water barking...
Bliss just kept on drinking...
pushing the chicken back under ever time it popped up...
my son rescued the chicken...
tossed it over the back fence...
that chicken ran for it's life...
we don't know where she found it...
we didn't even know that she had gotten out...
(this was before our next door neighbors had chickens)
Bliss was not to happy with us....
her chicken dinner was gone....

How funny, we can just see sweet Bliss pushing that chicken down every time it popped up...we did feel sorry for the poor thing though and was happy to see it had a fast get-away. Hugs and nose kisses

I am trying really hard not to laugh but losing the battle. poor chicken, poor you and poor bliss losing her free dinner. love it
