I got to do my thing at the lake...
believe it or not they were trying to sneak off with out me...
but I held my ground...I waited for just the right moment...
Oma and Hotrod were going through the gate...
I saw my chance...I bolted....
I ran to the truck...they gave in....
I got to go....woo hoo...
I spent 3 hours swimming...chasing the ball....
just what I needed on a HOT summer day....
For some reason Mom hasn't posted much lately...
I keep telling her too...but she hasn't been listening...
I think maybe she's still upset with me...
I accidently bit her...kinda...okay really really hard...
I was doing border patrol...Ginger too...
I heard her tell the man...
Don't put your hand over the fence....
well before you knew it...
he stuck his hand over the fence...
trying to get my Mom....
that's my view of it...
well she stuck out her hand at the same time...
I guess she was taking something from him...
that is against the rules....
well I jumped....and missed...
I got her instead of him....
I felt really bad...I sat down really close to her...
she was nice about it...but I could tell it hurt her...
Daddy had a good talking to me when he got home...
Listen up folks....
DON'T PUT YOUR HANDS OVER THE FENCE....

glad you got to go to the lake and now we know you will protect the clan from intruders...
So sorry about what happened. Better mom then the neighbor but that's no excuse! Hopefully she has forgiven you. (Mom, hope your okay)
Oh, Rooster, you were just trying to protect her. My Soldier doesn't like men, except my hubby who rescued him, so I get really upset when I tell a guy to not reach out toward Soldier, that he will bite. And they still do it and he goes for them. So far he hasn't bitten anyone, but me accidentally, but still. I hope you mom feels better by now and you be careful with those teeth, OK.

Good job sweet Rooster, how dare they try to get off to the lake without you, huh? We know your mama understands you did not bite her intentionally. That is a rule here that is strictly enforced. Chancy is small but he will jump and jump until he reaches a height to get hold of anything he sees come over the fence. Hugs and nose kisses
