we had a stressful afternoon yesterday...
my daughter left for work....
she had let Hatari and Nolan outside...
Nolan scratched to get in...
but Hatari wasn't with him....
I called for her...
No Hatari...
we spent 2 1/2 hours in the rain looking for her...
we drove around...walked around...
called...prayed...cried...
pulled back into the driveway...
guess who greeted us....
she is safe and sound now...
my daughter was so happy...
she scooped her up...
took her back to the dance studio with her...
Hatari sat in class while she taught...
a happy ending to a very tense time...
she has a collar with her name...phone numbers..
she also has a chip...
but you never know if that will get them back or not...

so glad she is ok... i read the other post first and was scared she was still MIA.. thank you Lord for helping her find her way home. baby girl ran away 3 times in the first 2 months after we got her, the stress was horrible.

How did she get out? I have very strict for Skye but they are simple ones. Leash at night because of the dangers with wild things around us. The dogs never go out alone because weird things have happened even in the daylight.
For some reason our reindeer did not go on the other night. It was around 7pm so Mark went outside. Skye was out there all alone, my daughter forgot she was out with her. She was running back and forth barking at a large owl who was watching her!!!! It was very early in the evening for the owl to even be around. Now she may be to heavy for him to take away but he couldn certainly damage her with his beak and claws. I was so angry. Actually I thanked God for the sign with the reindeers not working. I am so glad Hatari is okay and I thank God for her safety.
