Gypsy....

About 3 weeks ago my hubby pulled into 7-11 for his morning coffee....there was
a little dog running around....she looked like a border collie...hungry... no collar...still a puppy herself....had had a litter of pups...being the kind hearted fellow he is...he went in and bought her a can of dog food and feed it to her....she ate it quickly....then ran to someone else to feed her....well this little girl stuck in my husbands head....we drove past there later in the day...and
she was laying in the field next to 7-11.....we were on our way somewhere so didn't stop...
later that evening we drove up there to look for her...no sign of her...he looked for her
for a few days....and decided she must of went home....well last night we had gone to the
library and was headed to make another stop....I was driving...looked up and saw her...
I said to him there's your girl....I hadn't ever seen her...but in my heart I knew it was
her....so we pulled over...I got out...called her...she came running...oh what a cutie pie...
told her to load up....she jumped right into the truck...so happy to see us....we took her
home...introduced her to the gang....fed her....she was hungry....JD fell in love with her...
she made herself right at home....starting thinking of names....Cowgirl....Sophie....Gypsy..
I mean after all she was a Gypsy....got up this morning...Gypsy was gone....I guess some
time in the night she jumped the fence and took off.....hopefully she will be okay....she's true to the name we gave her...

What a lucky dog to have found you! Will you keep her or try to rehome her?

Hi Deb,
Loved reading this story, it seems your dh loves animals as much as you do. Mine does too, and I am so glad he does.
I hope gypsy comes back.
Hugs,
